On the back of over 22 years Engineering experience in the Rail industry Akriveia was formed to provide accurate, useable 3D scan data predominantly to the rail industry for Rolling Stock upgrades. 

Akriveia have developed bespoke tools and processes to validate accuracy and provide easier to use 3D scan data for the customer. With an excellent understanding of what the customer needs, the data produced by Akriveia will be geared towards the customer requirements.

Whilst the Railway will always be the biggest market for Akriveia, since starting in 2020 Akriveia have been asked to provide support to Automotive, Motorpsort, Aviation, Construction and Vehicle Battery conversion customers. With full 3D |Solid Edge CAD software, Akriveia are able to provide support to the customer relating to reverse engineering, 3D modelling, mechanical engineering design from initial feasibility up to final production drawings.

Alongside Rolling Stock surveys Akriveia are able to reverse engineer components where drawings no longer exist. This can include making improvements if required and taking account of Railway Standards relating to strength and fire compliance.

Akriveia are able to supply production parts, either using traditional manufacturing methods or using 3D printing where that prvides the most cost effective solution for the customer.
